ABOUT the SYMPOSIUM

We welcome you all to the “Galen Medicine Days-2024: Precision Medicine in Health and Disease International Symposium” which will be held on October 3-4, 2024 in Izmir, Türkiye.

With the completion of the Human Genome Project and the rapid development of modern medical technology, modeling of patients' genomic, proteomic and even social-environmental information with data science and personalized medicine applications have gradually begun to be used in clinical diagnosis and treatment. Especially in the last 10 years, there is a promising shift in cancer treatments towards personalized therapies that are more effective, more efficient and have fewer side effects, indicating that personalized medicine studies will be at the focus of the scientific world in research and clinical applications in the very near future.
